S101: Can you describe how Tinker Bell developed over the 3 movies? Jordan After Game
Raymond: "The message in this film is to learn to believe in the ones you love. Vidia learns to believe in Tink, Tink learns to believe in Vidia and most importantly, Dr. Griffiths learns to believe in his daughter Lizzy with a whole lot of help from Tinker Bell!"
S101: There was a small indication in the first film of connecting to the original Peter Pan. Will this be developed any more in this or the fourth film?

S101: In what way does this adventure change the relationship between Tinker Bell Cheap Jordans 13, Vidia and the other fairies?
In Part #2 of this interview, Kalafatic and Raymond discussed casting the film and working with Michael Sheen and Mae Whitman. In this installment, they talk about developing Tinker Bell's character over the course of the 3 films and what message they would like audiences to take from this movie.
Raymond: "The biggest influence on me during this movie would be John Lasseter. I was a big fan of his movies before I had the pleasure of working with him. And now that I have worked with John for over three years, I realize just how amazing he is. Working with him has been like going back to film school!"
Raymond: "These films take place before Disney's original Peter Pan. I look at Tinker Bell as a fully developed fairy in Peter Pan. So when Jeff Howard and I started thinking about the story for the first Tinker Bell film, we decided to tell her origin story. Our team set out to give Tinker Bell a character arc that spans multiple movies, so the audience sees how Tinker Bell became the amazing character that we all love."
For producer Helen Kalafatic and director Bradley Raymond New Balance, Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue wasn't just about making a movie to promote the Disney Fairies line of merchandise, it was also about developing a prequel that showed Tinker Bell's development prior to the events in 1953's classic film Peter Pan.
Raymond: "Tinker Bell and Vidia weren't friends after the first movie. And Vidia prefers to be alone. But when she witnesses Tinker Bell being captured by a human, Vidia shows Tinker Bell and the other fairies her true colors and leads the Great Fairy Rescue!"
S101: Is it more difficult to work with animated characters rather than with "real" people?
Kalafatic: "Our goal was to make a great film and our focus never swayed from that. The pressure that we put on ourselves was to make the best movie we could, it's a luxury to be able to work in a studio with that mindset."
S101: What message would you like audiences to take from this film?

S101: The two prior films have grossed over $100 milion, so is there any pressure when tackling a third film in a popular franchise?
S101: Brad, could you talk about your influences and how they made their way into the film?
Raymond: "You work closely with so many talented people throughout an animated production, that I would guess it is the same. You work with the voice talent, then you work with the animators to inspire the character's performance. There are sometimes 10 animators to one voice actor creating a character's movements. In live-action, there are 5 camera people to one cinematographer. So both mediums need a great crew to create the final result."
